Ten years ago, Peg and Tom became my very first buyer clients. Together we found this house back in 2016 — not as a place for them to live, but as an investment meant to help their son, daughter-in-law, and three grandkids get their feet back on the ground during a hard season. A lot has happened in the years since. Some of it good, some of it genuinely difficult. Through all of it, this house did exactly what it was meant to do. And this week, Peg and Tom were ready to pass it on to its next owner. Closing day was one of those rare ones where buyer and seller just click. The new owner was sweet, excited, and so grateful for how well this home had been cared for — and it showed. Ten years after my very first closing, this one felt like it closed a circle of its own. Some real estate transactions are a little more special than others. This one happens to be right in my own neighborhood. I met Katie & Dan at an open house when they were looking to make the move from South Philly to Medford. Their goal was simple: be closer to family and find a community where their two young boys could grow up. Here’s my August R.E.P.O.R.T. — a little snapshot of what I’ve been into lately, in real estate and real life. Tell me yours in the comments. R – Reading: "The Meaning of Your Life" - an incredibly powerful insight into why so many people especially the younger generation have a hard time finding meaning and purpose in their lives, why boredom should be an integral part of our daily lives and the impact screens and social media have on our ability to let the mind wander. E – Eating: Grubr in Medford, NJ has been staple for my husband and I when we're looking for a quick, delicious and healthy option for lunch. Check it out if you haven't already. It's always so fresh and the flavor is out of this world. P – Preparing: Vacation vibes!! 😎🌴 Headed to Hilton Head, SC this month for a week. Also our fantasy football draft. Last year I lost... badly, so I feel the need to show up prepared in hopes of not embarrassing myself again. O – On My Radar: Summer real estate has been a roller coaster ride so I am setting my sights on a more calm Fall market. R – Recommending: Between the sand, bits of meals and snacks and an assortment of toys from road trips and beach day trips, my car is taking a beating. I have frequented Big Sammy's Car Wash in Marlton quite a few times so far this season. A clean, fresh smelling car is a game changer when I spend so much time in it. Big Sammy's is affordable and convenient. T – Thankful: That I have a career that allows me the flexibility to be present and enjoy time with my kids during the summer. Even though it's not all day every day (let's be real, I'd go bananas if that happened), I have still been able to have all sorts of fun with them this summer. I hope you have too!

A little real estate full-circle moment for Megan & Chris! Back in 2021, I helped these newlyweds purchase this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath ranch. At the time, it was the perfect home in the perfect location for the two of them. Fast forward a few years, and there’s a baby in the mix who is officially on the move… and suddenly, it was time for a little more space. We were able to coordinate a same-day closing, selling their current home and purchasing their next one all in the same day. These transactions take a lot of patience, planning and coordination, but when everything comes together, it’s so worth it. Now they have the extra room they need for their growing family and a new home to make even more memories in. Congratulations, Megan & Chris!
